Parameter Interpretation

150D (Denier) – Medium-heavy fineness, approximately 16.7 tex, providing good coverage and strength for fabrics.

48F (Filament count) – 48 monofilaments, each approximately 3.1D, balancing softness with fabric body.

DTY (Draw Textured Yarn) – Textured yarn with bulk, stretch, and softness created through a draw-texturing process (POY + texturing + heat setting).

Semi-Dull – Soft, natural luster with approximately 0.3% TiO₂ content – the most common finish for general apparel.

Raw White – Undyed, ready for piece dyeing or used directly for white end products.

Knitting Grade – Suitable for circular knitting, warp knitting, and sock machines with consistent tension and low broken ends.

Processing Guidelines (Knitting)

Recommended Knitting Parameters:

• Circular knitting speed: 18–25 m/min (depending on gauge)

• Input tension: 0.10–0.15 g/denier

• Yarn oil content: 2.5–3.5% (knitting grade)

• Intermingle knots: 80–120cm spacing for smooth unwinding

Dyeing Process (for 100% polyester knits):

• Scouring: 80°C × 20 min

• Dyeing: Disperse dyes at 130°C × 45 min (high temperature/pressure)

• Reduction clearing: 80°C × 20 min

• Heat setting: 170–180°C × 30 seconds (to fix shape and set dimensions)
